Laying asphalt is an extremely complex process that occupies a lot of time and selects a lot of effort and includes several stages. First you need to prepare a plot that will be covered with asphalt.

To seal the base, some astringent building material (lime, gypsum, bitumen) is mixed with the outer layer of soil and thoroughly compacted. The base is compacted, usually on a loam, and not on the upper layer of soil.

After completion of the seal, the gasket layer is prepared specifically for the asphalt coating. It also turns into part of the base. Intermediate layers can be different-gravelly, sand-global, gypsum concrete.

Each cushioning layer has its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, the cement -concrete layer has a bad heat -pansical comparability with a laid asphalt coating.

The gravel layer, of course, will not crack, but under load from vehicles that are constantly traveling on asphalt, gravel grains will be constantly shifted. As a result, asphalt will settle in many places. Crushed stone is laid with a special machine, filling it with prepared bitumen.

When both the base and the intermediate layer are completed, you can proceed directly to the very laying of the asphalt coating.
