Stage installation of a suspended ceiling with illumination
1. First you need to decide on the size of the protruding part of the ceiling. If furniture is located near the walls, then you need to retreat from it if you do not want the bulbs to shine there.
2. Next, you should apply the plaster with an even layer, especially to the part that will be visible due to the suspended ceiling. Then make markings on the walls and ceiling. Basically, the ceilings are omitted by about 15 centimeters. At the same distance, the wiring is allowed along the walls – this is the most convenient option for connecting lamps.
3. Then prepare the niche from the sheets of GKL, for the strength of the suspended ceiling, and fix the spacers.
4. Start putty and primer. Since you have already measured the distance where the lamps will be located, it remains only to bring the wiring to them. You should also bring gofro-cable there. Through it you need to connect the LED tape.
5. Make the bottom of the niche. To do this, make horizontal guides and install GKL stripes. Then, you need to screw a sheet of GKL and close the end of the cornice.
6. Next, attach the corners to the corners of the cornice. The bottom of the niche should be even, for this it is worth putting it on. So that the joints of the GCL do not crack, you need to glue wallpaper in the tone of the paint.
7. The last step is the installation of skirting boards, cutting holes for lamps and installing them.
