Production of PVC-linoleum and its installation rules
This material is based on fiberglass. All other components of PVC-linoleum are based on this layer. The integrity and homogeneity of this material is very important. Otherwise, bubbles and irregularities may appear on the finished product. The fiberglass is processed by PVC-paste. Thanks to this, the lack of pores in the material is achieved. With a higher fiberglass density, the pores in it are less and, therefore, the paste is better fixed in it.
After the pasta is applied, the first layer of polyvinyl chloride is laid on the fiberglass. A drawing is applied to this layer using special rollers with engraving. The number of repetitions of the picture on the surface of linoleum depends on the size of these rollers. A transparent layer of PVC is applied to this main layer, which is designed to protect the pattern and give wear resistance to the material. Linoleum service life depends on the thickness of the transparent layer. Than it is thicker, this coating will last longer and vice versa. The order of price for linoleum depends on the thickness of the protective layer. On average, this indicator does not fall below than 0.18 mm. After all the layers are collected, the material is baked in the furnace under the influence of high temperatures.
