The composition of the work and the stages of geological research
In our modern time, suburban cottage villages grow like mushrooms after rain. Many modern city residents prefer a suburban comfortable life of the city bustle and an incessant noise.
But it is worth mentioning that some areas that are intended for individual buildings are allocated from the land fund that have experienced the impact of a technogenic nature, and which have adverse engineering and geological conditions.
It is impossible to underestimate the difficulties of these conditions, because this may well lead to such undesirable consequences as:
1. Various kinds of deformations that may occur as a result of the negative effects of frosty soil overwhelming.
2. Flooding the basement floor with soil waters.
3. The appearance of cracks, not only on the foundation, but also on the facade of the building.
4. Uneven subsidence of various parts of the building or structure.
As well as other situations that can completely lead to the complete destruction of the building.
That is why the conduct of geological surveys is the need. Engineering and geological surveys must be carried out at the very initial stage of design. The result of the work will be reliable and complete information:
1. About the category of soil abusiness and its freezing depth.
2. On the presence of groundwater, about their chemical composition, as well as the degree of their aggressiveness (including corrosion).
3. Deformation, strength and physical properties of soils that lie on the site to the desired depth.
