Now it’s hard to imagine your life without different electrical appliances, such as computer, multicooker, microwave, toaster, TV, washing machine and many others. Therefore, the apartment must be grounded.
In the residential building, according to the standards, household power networks with a voltage of 220 V are mounted. To connect switches and outlets, 2 wires are needed: zero and phase. Electric current approaches the first wire. Contact with it leads to a shock. Zero wire is not particularly dangerous. It is intended for the allocation of electricity after closing contacts. Phase wire, usually painted in dark color, and zero is a blue shade. Ground protective wire has yellow and green color.
The task of grounding is that in case of malfunctions, the voltage that fell on the body of the device is redirected to the soil.
For the manufacture of a grounding circuit, you will need steel rods, a steel strip, a welding machine, a shovel, a sledgehammer.
Along the foundation of the house, at a distance of 1 meter from it, a small trench is digging. At a distance of 1 meter from each other, steel rods are vertically driven vertically.
