Criteria and features of choosing tiles to the kitchen
The floor in the kitchen is more susceptible to various influences than in other rooms. Something is constantly falling, crumbles and spilled. Therefore, you should approach the choice of floor tiles with all responsibility, so as not to regret after.
Tiles for the kitchen according to textures can be: matte, smooth, structured, glossy, semi -polished (lappable).
We advise you not to take very textured or porous tiles – the pattern is very quickly clogged with dirt. With such tiles you will have to wash the floor every day. The advantage of such tiles can be counted by the fact that it is impossible to slip on it. When choosing the texture and color, the following should be taken into account: any pollution is noticeable on a plain light tile, and on a variegated, dark and granular spot are much less noticeable. On the dark glossy, any scratches are clearly visible.
Floor tiles should be highly resistant to chemical exposure and ordinary abrasion. Tile class III is good.
When buying, make sure that there are no cracks and chips on the tiles. The smoothness of the surface can be checked by applying two tiles to each other. There should be no clicks between them. Take the tile with a margin, 10% more required area.
